John Nott Sartorius

John Nott Sartorius was probably the most prolific painter of the Sartorius family. His father Francis and grandfather were both sporting painters and his brother, Francis was a marine artist. Sartorius primarily painted hunting and racing scenes and many of his works were engraved, several being published in The Sporting Magazine.
